2. Static QR Codes
Static QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. No data is transmitted to our servers. We have no access to the content you encode in static QR codes.
3. Dynamic QR Codes
When creating dynamic QR codes, the following data is stored on our server: • Target URL (the URL the QR code should redirect to) • Optional label • Creation time and last modification time • A randomly generated edit token Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the requested service). Data is stored on servers of Supabase Inc. in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Supabase.
4. Redirect Service
When scanning a dynamic QR code, a request is made to our server, which performs a redirect (302) to the stored target URL. IP addresses may be temporarily stored in server logs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the service).
5. Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage for: • Theme setting (light/dark) – technically necessary • Edit tokens for your dynamic QR codes – technically necessary This data does not leave your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
6. Hosting
This website is hosted on servers of Vercel Inc. Vercel may automatically create server logs containing IP addresses, access times, and requested pages. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
7. No Cookies, No Tracking
This website does not use cookies or any tracking or analytics tools. No data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Dynamic QR codes and associated data are stored as long as the service is actively used. After 24 months of inactivity (no scans, no edits), data is automatically deleted. You can delete your dynamic QR codes at any time via the edit link.
